Thursday 23rd May 2019:

We made our annual trip over to Hay Festival, one of the most famous literary festivals in the world. We had an amazing time listening to authors including: Harry Hill, Steve Mould, Caroline Lawrence and Ade Adepitan.

Friday 15th March:
We visited We The Curious in Bristol to celebrate British Science Week 2019 and the end of Burghill Science Week. We had lots of fun and took part in the 'Solve It' workshop where we learnt about forensic science to help us solve a crime.

Monday 28th January:

We visited Hereford Cathedral to look at the famous Mappa Mundi (A centuries-old map of the world). We visited as part of our science topic, looking at how people have viewed the universe over the centuries.

Monday 22nd October:

We travelled to Shropshire and visited RAF Cosford as part of our Britain at War topic and to celebrate 100 years of the RAF. We got to see how aviation has developed since WWI.
